We have a fun-filled summer planned for children which provides a safe and creative learning environment. Our goal is for children to form new friendships and make their summer experience memorable. Our Sumer Casa Program resides on a beautiful ravine setting where the children have regular outdoor play times in our large, fenced playground.
Our Summer Casa Program offers 2-week session programs for children 2.5 years and toilet-trained to 5 years, which follow the appropriate teacher-to-child ratio with activities geared to your child’s age. Our Summer Casa Program staff consists of our regular school year teachers as well as experienced childcare personnel.
Lunch is catered by a qualified local catering company and lunches and snacks are peanut/nut safe. We can accommodate most food and environmental allergies and restrictions. Meals and snacks meet all Ministry of Education, Middlesex-London Health Unit, and Canada’s Food Guide to Healthy Eating guidelines. Children enjoy our air-conditioned building as well as a completely fenced outdoor playground with play equipment, sandbox, basketball hoop, and tricycles to ride on pathways. The playground is shaded by several mature trees for the comfort of the children during outdoor activities.
As well as a smile, children should be dressed for outdoor play with a change of clothes, hat, filled water bottle, and sunscreen every day. Please ensure that your child’s sunscreen does not contain any nut oils, including coconut oil, for the safety of our children with nut allergies.
Our North Woods location does not offer a Summer Casa Program at this time, but children are welcome to attend our Byron Woods Summer Casa Program.
